Since 1971 we have carried forward skills and tooling from the Victorian era to ensure that all of our work is the very best available. You may have family items that are irreplaceable and badly damaged them, could be just a chip as you removed it from the dishwasher on your Great Aunties favourite gravy boat  or a Ru Guanyo Bowl  (I hope that wouldn’t be in the dishawasher).

Our repairs are done in house, with access to a number of qualified and highly competent internal staff with a combined working history of over 130 years.  There isn’t much we can’t restore repair.

For Glassware we have our own Blower on site to match and repair items – for Ceramics our two specialists on site handle nearly everything but for the more complex work we bring people in. 

Soft paste porcelain repairs or terracota work is not a problem we can also repair and rebond historic repairs 

Invisible repairs are also not a problem.

We also carry out Kintsugi repairs – this is the traditional Japanese method.

Reversable restoration for those items that are of historic importance are also available at extra cost.

Simply email us the images of your broken item, wrap up the remaining items and we’ll give you a firm price immediately and confirm this once the item is in our workshop.

If you decided you don’t want the repair carried out – no problem we will deliver the item back to you at our cost.
